2. What data we collect

We process the following types of information when you interact with our website:

• Technical Website Data: Page views, device and browser information, approximate location (country/city level), traffic sources, and website interaction events.
• Anonymous Scan Responses: Selected options, diagnostic types, recommended outcome paths, and localized entry routes from our interactive tools.
• Contact Form Data: Name, email address, organization/company name, website url, selected context, and your message description.
• Manual Review Data: Name, email, optional phone/WhatsApp number, optional company, and scan context.
• Booking Data: Information submitted directly through our Google Calendar booking scheduler.
• Email Correspondence: Message text and contact info when emailing us directly.
• Template Downloads: Anonymous clicks and downloads of our AI readiness worksheets, which do not require an email address.

Please note: Free diagnostic scans and templates are available without email signup. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or free-text form inputs to Google Analytics.

3. Why we use the data

Your data is processed to:

• Operate, secure, and monitor the performance of our website.
• Provide personalized scan recommendations and downloads.
• Respond directly to your inquiries and contact submissions.
• Schedule and prepare for direct execution calls.
• Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve our content and service lines.

Under Swiss data protection laws (FADP) and applicable international rules (such as GDPR), we rely on:

• Consent: Primarily for analytics cookies (managed via our cookie settings).
• Contractual Steps: Processing requests when you book a call or submit a contact inquiry.
• Legitimate Interest: Running, securing, and optimizing DigitalCoa.ch.
• Legal Duty: Compliance with mandatory legal, business record, or regulatory obligations.

5. Third-party tools and processors

We work with trusted service providers to run our operations:

• Database & Storage: Supabase (anonymous diagnostics, contact submissions, and leads).
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (aggregate user traffic measurement).
• Email & Booking: Google Workspace / Gmail & Google Calendar.
• Hosting: Hostinger.

Some servers may be located outside of Switzerland or the EEA. Where standard data transfers occur, we implement appropriate safeguards.

6. Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate usage. We do not track or send personal details (such as names or emails) to GA4. Google Analytics cookies are only loaded if you accept analytics cookies in our consent banner. You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the settings link in our footer.

7. Data retention

We store data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined:

• Anonymous Scan Data: Retained up to 24 months.
• Contact Form & Review Submissions: Retained up to 24 months after our last interaction, unless legal archive requirements apply.
• Booking & Communication Records: Retained for the duration of the advisory relationship.
• Analytics Data: Managed according to standard Google Analytics retention limits.

8. Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You may also object to processing, request data portability, or withdraw consent at any time.
